MunguiaArt studio is an “OPEN HOUSE” for recurring events, live streams, collaborations, and workshops with partnered local/international artists and like-minded. Excited to try new art forms and expand new ideas! We will facilitate seamless interaction between work, play, and creativity!  It is also a place to free your mind and to have great conversations about art.  

​Tianzifang is a landmark for the creative industry. Formed after the reconstruction of the unique Shikumen building complex in Shanghai. It is also the creative work base of many artists. The studio is located in an urban industrial building reconstructed from a five-story factory in Tianzifang. Art groups from 10 countries and regions have been introduced within 5000 square meters, with setups in design rooms and studios. Tianzifang blends traditional Chinese elements with an International flavor, a fusion for a creative environment

Tianzifang is where I met my mentor Chen Yifei (1946-2005) in his converted two abandoned factory buildings in Lane 210 (now a museum). We met on a weekly basis to practice my drawing and painting skills and for that, I am very grateful to him.
